Vinyasa Yoga

Meaning to place in a special way, vinyasa is one of the most beautiful and powerful ways to begin to explore and consolidate the mind body connection. Building on classical hatha technique, we begin to open to the subtle energy flowing through each one of us and it is in this way that the vinyasa is born.  Staying with the dynamic, flowing movement of the vinyasa allows the body to warm and open into and past emotional and physical limitations. Vinyasa flow is simply allowing your body to express the movement that is deep within.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha yoga is the physical practice of postures or asanas.  Each posture works deeply on a physical, emotional and energetic level providing the practitioner a vast universe of exploration within their own practice.  The benefits of a regular yoga practice range from increased flexibility and overall health to literally changing the way the genes in your body respond to stress

Kundalini Yoga

The raj, or king, of all yogas, Kundalini is the oldest known form of yoga, and is still widely practiced to this day. It is a physical and meditative discipline, comprising a set of techniques that encourages communication between the divine union of mind and body, giving special consideration to the spine and endocrine system.

Join us for an hour of this ancient Eastern discipline, moving through kriyas (yoga sets) as Yogi Bhajan, the Kundalini master who first brought these powerful teachings to the West, originally taught them.
